MEET YOUR GUIDE - STEVE WRIGLEY

Helping You Discover and Build What's Next.

I believe the next chapter of life can be one of renewed purpose, connection, contribution, and joy.

A Guide, Mentor, and Accountability Partner.

HI, I'm Steve Wrigley, M.A., BCC. For nine years, I've helped people navigate retirement and other meaningful life transitions. My coaching combines careful listening, thought-provoking questions, practical exercises, education, and support for turning ideas into action.

I've also facilitated group learning experiences through the University of Utah's Osher Lifelong Learning program. Those experiences have shown me how much people can gain from sharing wisdom, encouragement, and discoveries with others.

I created Build Your Encore Life to help people design their own meaningful next chapter—not simply fill their schedules.

THE HEART OF THIS WORK

Why I Coach People Through Retirement Transitions.

Over years of coaching and facilitating group learning, I've seen that retirement brings questions that money alone cannot answer. People want to know that their experience still matters, that they have something to contribute, and that the years ahead can hold real purpose.

I enjoy helping people identify what they value, imagine new possibilities, and turn their insights into practical steps. I see my role as a guide, mentor, and encourager—not someone who tells you what your ideal retirement should look like.

My hope is that you leave with greater clarity, confidence, and a plan that truly feels like yours.

MY OWN ENCORE TRANSITION

I've Walked This Path Too. So I Know
How to Help.

As I began considering retirement from an executive role in state government, I faced a question many people ask: What would give this next chapter meaning? I began studying purpose-driven retirement, became an AARP Life Reimagined group leader, and facilitated groups for adults exploring their next stage of life.

That experience helped me discover part of my own encore: supporting others as they turn possibilities into a plan. Today I bring that personal perspective, professional coaching training, and a practical, encouraging approach to our work together.

My Coaching Philosophy

Your life. Your goals. Your next chapter

I don't believe there is one ideal retirement.

Some people want meaningful work.
Others want travel, service, relationships, learning, or creative projects.

My role is to help you discover what matters most to you, and develop a plan for living it.
